Update: Order online, retail closed ❤️
March 20 Update:
8 am - 12 pm Saturday, March 21, will be our last day for a little while.
We’ve got extra bags of beans on hand for everyone to stock up.
15% off tomorrow, in store only.
Please be mindful of social distancing when you’re in line.
You want a five pound bag, we’ll sell you one. As supplies last, we’ll even sell you cold brew in growlers!!
Reminder that you can also order online for us to ship it to you.
We’re going to take a few days and regroup to see if there are any safe options for us to only roast and ship.
Hopefully this is as temporary as possible. We’ve rocked this corner for well over a decade and have the best customers in the world. Take care of yourselves and we’ll see you on the other side of this. 💜💜

March 16 Update:
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We want to update you on what Cellar Door Coffee will be doing to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and wider community during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are following the guidance of our local health officials closely, and will update you as the situation changes.
We are currently continuing to serve to-go drinks, limited food, and whole or ground coffee beans. We are continuing to ship mail orders out several times a week and now have an option for digital gift cards. Your continued support is much appreciated!
If you visit us in person, we have moved to a to-go-only policy and implemented increased sanitation measures within the cafe.
All heavily used surfaces, such as doorknobs, countertops, tables and chairs are being wiped down with a sanitizing solution multiple times a day.
Baristas have been instructed not to handle anyone’s reusable containers. House coffee and creamer are being handled by baristas only, and we’ve switched to sugar packets and single-use stir sticks.
As of Monday, March 16th everything will be to-go, with no open seating in the cafe, as we feel social distancing is the best option for both our employees and customers.
For the time being, we would also appreciate customers paying with credit cards or using pay apps such as Apple or Google Pay, to reduce the need for cash handling. We will not refuse cash as a form of payment, for equity reasons, but if you have the option of paying with plastic, please consider doing so.
All of our staff have been asked to not report to work if they feel any symptoms of illness. We provide paid sick leave, and we are encouraging our staff to use it as needed. We would also ask that you also please refrain from coming into the shop if you’re not feeling well or have been in contact with anyone who has exhibited any flu-like symptoms in the past two weeks.
Our number one concern is the health of our community--our customers, our employees, and our families. We are all distressed at the news and the drastic measures required of all of us to reduce the spread of the illness. These are stressful times, so we encourage everyone to be patient and kind to each other, and also to spend as much time at home as possible.
